Customer communication is vital. A new IDG Research MarketPulse survey tracks the transition to electronic communications from traditional print-based channels and transactional exchanges. Companies almost universally prefer electronic channels and most believe their customers do too. Though many companies employ multiple vendors to manage customer communication across all channels, many respondents find challenges in maintaining so many relationships, and 90% see value in having a single, integrated vendor.
