- How have you incorporated social media into your work?
- We have started the implementation of Yammer and see quite encouraging adoption of this platform across the company globally (at last count, about 3,000 users in 12 months).
- How do you evaluate emerging technologies?
- We have a pool of money set aside in our budget for proofs of concepts that otherwise wouldn't see the light of day. We funded a number of projects over the past two years that became real projects in our business units.
- How does your IT group embed workers in the business?
- We are set up as a federated IT organization where about 40% of our IT employees reside directly in a business unit with a dual reporting line to that business unit as well as IT.
