A recent example of your leadership style:
Providing developmental opportunities to my team members is key to their success. In one-on-one mentoring meetings, I create an open atmosphere conducive for engagement and learning. I then assign team members to high-profile projects where they have the chance to apply their knowledge and grow as leaders.
How are you turning your IT department into a services organization?
Far beyond order-takers, IT introduces technologies and applications that greatly improve the customer experience across a cross-section of business units, including retail, online sales and customer service.
How do you evaluate emerging technologies?
We opened The Innovation Pipeline (TIP), believed to be the world's largest employee crowdsourcing initiative. Externally, our Fast Pitch program brings in potential collaborators to find emerging technologies.
