How many times have you had to reinvent yourself in your career?
Every three to four years. Not so much a reinvention as an acceptance of a new role or taking on a new capability. That pushes me to develop and provides rich learning opportunities.
How have you incorporated social media into your own work?
Last year, I used social media to crowd-source my group's priorities and strategies for this year. We set up a forum, posted ideas and let the team drive the conversation and whittle down the discussion to the top two or three items that will allow Intel IT to meet Intel's future business goals.
Boldest IT prediction:
The Internet of Things is much more important to the future of business than we recognize. While most see it as an important trend, when wearables, edge devices and handhelds really meet the future of business intelligence, our devices will be able to provide a true, dynamic user experience.
