- How many times have you had to reinvent yourself in your career?
- Mergers and acquisitions coupled with rapid changes in technology, business, career growth and engagements have driven continuous innovation and reinvention throughout my career, at least every two to three years. My approach has been to understand the market opportunity and/or the business goals to evaluate, understand and then design the solution.
- A career highlight:
- After running various teams and projects, I was chosen to lead the business intelligence and integration function for NBCUniversal. In that role, I created a center of excellence to address operational issues and drive innovation. In 2009, I was recognized by Informatica as an innovation leader in the industry. With no previous background in business intelligence or extract, transform and load technology, it was an honor to be recognized externally for a transformation for the whole industry.
- Boldest IT prediction:
- IT will focus on being a service broker rather than a service owner. With the rapid innovation in cloud and SaaS applications, IT needs to focus on brokering services both internally and externally.
