- A recent example of your leadership style:
- I believe that every employee is an agent of innovation and change if empowered to be successful. Throughout the year, I invite every IT employee (200-plus) in small groups to my home for dinner and I plan a number of other events that offer opportunities for their voices and suggestions to be heard.
- A career highlight:
- While working at West Point, I served as mentor for emerging young leaders. While I retired from the Army a number of years ago, I've maintained a close bond with my former mentees.
- Quick ROI project:
- Our deployment of a learning management system as software as a service dramatically lowered costs, runs flawlessly, accelerated adoption of consumer technologies and transformed how we educate and inspire our students. Students and faculty access the system more than 50 million times per day.
