- How have you incorporated social media into your own work?
- We have started using Google Hangouts to conduct meetings, which has worked very well, especially for employees in other offices or employees working remotely.
- A job responsibility you'd like to eliminate:
- Directly managing hardware. It is extremely demanding and has become more and more commoditized. As the cloud becomes more cost-effective, there will be less of a need to do this.
- Characteristic most important in an IT hire:
- It is important that people like working with other people. An IT job is no longer for people who keep to themselves and don't socialize. It's essential for IT to be entrenched in the organization, so their expertise can be leveraged to help the organization's operations.
