- With a data warehouse in place, including executive dashboard tools, we are exploring the automated conversion of unstructured data to structured form where previously unrealized data categories and relationships are also electronically discovered in the process. Tying this extra information into advanced analytics engines creates a dynamic picture of organizational efficiencies where certain variables can be adjusted to view big-picture business/customer impacts over long periods of time.
- Boldest IT prediction:
- Most CIOs spend time in support roles or in automating the business. Advanced analytics will overwhelm those unprepared for the information onslaught already progressing at exponential pace. We must also prepare for faster project delivery where acceleration in technological advancements is shortening the time to obsolescence.
