'Cultural fit' determines employee success. Technical expertise is a baseline; we can teach certain skills and behaviors. A job candidate needs to share our values to work successfully within our organization.
How are you turning your IT department into a services organization?
The latest step has been to develop a Web-based service catalog so that we don't think of ourselves in terms of technologies or organizational units nor present ourselves in technological 'silos' to our client.
How do you evaluate emerging technologies?
We established a regular working team of senior cross-discipline technologists charged with researching emerging technologies and recommending future direction and alignment of strategic direction.
