iManage sets up ANZ office

US based iManage, which describes itself as the leading provider of document management solutions, has opened an office in Brisbane and named Gianni Giustas managing director for Australia and New Zealand.

iManage CEO, Neil Araujo, said local representation would solidify the company’s commitment to the market, provide increased support for partners, and provide a compelling local presence for our customers.

“The Australian and New Zealand market has always been an important market for us -- we count the largest law firms and financial institutions in the region as customers, and we have a strong partner community that has served us and our customers well,” he said.

iManage said Giust had a strong pedigree with iManage, having spent a number of years working for a key iManage partner organisation in Australia, “focused on growing the adoption of the iManage solutions across the professional services market in New South Wales.”

“Additionally, Giust brings broad experience in the enterprise content management space, including time as associate director -- enterprise content management at [Australian telco] Optus, and national manager of customer success at Objective Corporation,” it said.

iManage claims that more than one million professionals at over 3,000 organisations around the world, including more than 2,000 law firms and 500 corporate legal departments, use its software. It lists Bank of New Zealand as a customer.
