This Computerworld UK event will be hosted by Associate Editor Mike Simons.

Bartlett will discuss how some organisations and individuals embrace and seek to lead technology-driven transformation, others struggle to get up to speed, while an increasing number simply react negatively against change. Drawing on his research, Bartlett will argue that organisations getting this right will very quickly gain competitive advantage.

Those that fall short will face a severe backlash. In a world of constant change and uncertainty – from new technology and new market challengers, to the potential political and economic turmoil of events like Brexit, getting this right has never been more important.

Western Digital CIO Steve Philpot will discuss how he brought together the infrastructures of three large Fortune 500 companies, and Kendrick will offer an end-user perspective on Transforming IT infrastructure for the digital age.

Other discussion points include:

  • The relationship between business process modernisation and technology modernisation.
  • The technologies driving the need for new infrastructure architectures and the technologies available to meet those needs.
  • Practical lessons from a major infrastructure consolidation and transformation project.
  • The management tools and techniques to manage hybrid infrastructure.

This is a free-to-attend event for UK CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, Heads of IT, IT Directors, VP of Technology, Head of Digital Transformation, Head of Architecture and Senior IT Managers only, and not open to consultants, non-IT titles, consulting companies or vendors.
