IT leaders join forces for Byte Night

The IT industry's annual Byte Night charity sleep out has named a powerful board, representing many of the world’s most powerful IT organisations.

Dell, Intel, BT, Accenture, Ernst & Young, Barclays, and many others are joining the drive to ensure that, regardless of the recession, the IT industry meets the £500,000 target for Action for Children.

The organisers hope to attract over 700 participants to sleep out on 2 October at various locations across the country. Each regional event has its own Board.

The Board are responsible for shaping the event and ensuring targets are hit. As well as committing to sleeping out themselves, Board members drive recruitment for new sleepers and take part in activities promoting the night, and the wider Action for Children cause.
