Details, details...

Backup administrator pilot fish who works at a big insurance company gets a request to recover some missing files -- which is what a backup admin does, right?

Well, maybe. "The support ticket had the following description: 'Something happened and some of my files are missing. I don't know which ones and don't know when they were deleted. Please restore what I need from backup,'" says fish.

"I contacted the user directly -- and got exactly the same unhelpful information to go on.

"After that, I went back into the ticketing system and closed the request with this response: 'All the user's required files have been restored based on the information given.'

"I never heard another word."
