Grant me free overnight shipping thru Dec 22 in the USA
[You’re fired -Ed.]

Both Google Nexus 6P and 5X smartphones have been reduced in price, when bought directly. The Huawei Watch gets a similar discount, too.

And you can get it faster now, without forking out for the overnighted option. That is, in the USA, at least (so sorry to our Canadian friends).

Merry festivus, pure-Android fans. In IT Blogwatch, bloggers know when you are sleeping, and they know when you’re awake. Not to mention: Star Wars Minus Star Wars...

Your humble blogwatcher curated these bloggy bits for your entertainment.

What’s the scoop? Brad Linder says the Google Nexus 6P is now available for $50 off (Nexus 5X too):

The Google Nexus 6P is considered by many to be the best Nexus phone to date.

Google is running its first sale on the Nexus 6P, bringing the starting price down to $449.

Google is also selling the...5X smartphone for $50 off, bringing the starting price...to $329. That’s not quite as good as the $299...on Black Friday, but it’s still a pretty good price.

If my Nexus 5 screen cracked tomorrow...I’d probably jump on one of these deals in a heartbeat.

And it’s not just phones. It’s time to watch Alex Wagner note Google discounting Huawei Watch by $50:

Google...also has a deal for folks...in the market for a new smartwatch.

The Huawei Watch with a silver mesh band is $399, while the black stainless steel model is $449.

[It] is regarded as one of the better-looking Android Wear smartwatches.

But wait! There’s more. There’s Ryan Whitwam—Google Is Offering Free Overnight Shipping On All US Google Store Orders Until December 22nd:

For a limited time, you can get free overnight shipping [which] can run you $18-20 in the Google Store, so this is a big saving.

Google is sending it to you fast.

Hungry for a 6P? All men eat, but Frumusanu, Andrei—The Google Nexus 6P Review:

[The] Nexus 6P [is] the first showing from Huawei as a Nexus partner. ... Huawei has proven itself to be an extremely competent partner.

The Nexus 6P hits a sweet-spot in terms of price-performance and is able to position itself very competitively.

[But] with Snapdragon 820 phones coming in just a few months...we're on the verge of a large generational jump that will undoubtedly bring a lot of improvements.

But perhaps you’d like to see a 6P in the flesh before you buy? Best wait, suggests Stephen Hall—Google to soon begin selling Nexus 6P via Best Buy:

According to people familiar with the matter, the company is planning to soon begin selling the Nexus 6P via Best Buy.

While the Nexus 5X is already available through Best Buy, we’re told that the company is [also] bringing the Nexus 6P to...brick-and-mortar stores and online...in the near future.

And Finally...
