Usually that's the help desk, but not this time

Local government help-desk pilot fish gets a message via email from a user:

Subject: cannot open e-mail
Greetings IT,
I currently cannot access my e-mail through Lotus Notes. The following error message occurs. Please advise.

"The email is about not being able to get to email," says fish. "It was actually sent by a licensed professional from her email account, not sent for a co-worker. She did in fact have a problem, which she clicked past to get into her inbox and send the email.

"We were able to resolve this rather easily, but it took several hours for her to return our calls when I called her to verify status.

"I mean, who responds to an email that says 'I can't get to my email' with yet another email?"
