Apple's big event today is likely to focus on new iPhones -- the expected updates to last year's iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus -- as well as a new, more powerful Apple TV and...one more thing: The long-anticipated iPad Pro. (The last one has already prompted speculation about whether Apple will do with the bigger iPad what Microsoft has done with the Surface.)
If past practice is a guide, the company is also likely to detail its release dates for iOS 9 and OS X 10.11 "El Capitan," both of which have been in public beta since mid-summer.
The event begins at 10 a.m. PT (1 p.m. ET) and will be live-streamed by Apple. Save this link and check back later today for the latest updates in real-time.
