We want to download Android 5.0.1. Google can bring it for most Nexus devices and the Moto G.

But for Nexus 5 owners, the only thing we feel is pain, caused by the absence of patch. In IT Blogwatch, bloggers have never danced like this before.

Your humble blogwatcher curated these bloggy bits for your entertainment.

"Milky" Chance Miller wants you by his side... [I have a bad feeling about this -Ed.]

Google has posted the factory images for Android 5.0.1 on the Nexus 6 and Nexus 4.

[It's] just one more to add to the ever-growing list of issues following Android 5.0.  MORE

...Juan Carlos Torres brought you away from me: [I wish you'd go away -Ed.]

This maintenance release...is now available [but] strangely, no image is up for the Nexus 5, and Google continues to be rather silent about this particular release. ... No changelog yet.

As a bonus, owners of the Google Play Edition of the Moto G are also getting an update.

The OTA updates have also started rolling out to these devices. If you're...adventurous, you can also download the OTA file and sideload it.  MORE

Wait. Sideload a random OTA? Slobodan Simic hopes they didn't get your mind: [You're fired -Ed.]

Or you could make yourself a nice hot cocoa and read a good book instead.  MORE
