Census Bureau still counting on handhelds for 2010 tally

In preparation for the 2010 census, the U.S. Census Bureau is beginning its rollout of over $600 million worth of wireless handheld computers. The GPS-enabled devices will help the agency create a list of all addresses nationwide so it can more effectively count the country's population.
