A dozen dazzling and dopey Mac ads from the past 25 years

Here's another ad for the the "Fail" column. Because really, what makes you more excited about a product than a full page of text from the CEO? Even the message is wishy-washy: "We're large, but we're adventurous." Most marketing wisdom would counsel against trying to be all things to all people.

The final paragraph says, "Your enthusiasm and loyalty inspire us to make our products better and better." Too bad none of that enthusiasm and inspiration is on display in this ad.
