Online 'game' allows you to catch Mexicans hopping border

Kotaku reports that a new online program empowers users to catch Mexicans who are attempting to cross the border into the U.S.

It should be noted that Virtual Stakeout, an application that Kotaku compares to the popular Nintendo 64 video game Pokemon Snap, allows you to turn in real Mexican people and not some computerized characters, by spotting them on continuously streaming webcams as they try to get into the country.

The program that allows you to turn illegal immigrants into the police cost $2 million to make and works via webcams set up around the border shared between Texas and Mexico.

You can read the full story on Virtual Stakeout here on Kotaku.
