Visual tour: Top tablets from CES

Tablets, tablets, tablets: Those three words sum up CES 2011. We pick the cream of the crop.

Lenovo IdeaPad Slate

Lenovo showed off a 10.1-inch tablet called the IdeaPad Slate that runs Windows 7 on a 1280 x 800 display. As with some of the Android tablets, Lenovo has put its own skin over Windows 7, dividing apps into separate Work and Play screens (although you can also opt for a traditional Windows desktop). It's a capacitive touch screen, but you can also use a stylus to write with -- and the text recognition is impressive. There are also USB and microSD ports. Neither ship date nor price were available during CES.
