This company's security team has developed guidelines for the use of blogs by employees, reports a pilot fish on the receiving end of the new rules.

"I had to laugh out loud when I saw the last two points in the list," fish says.

"They were:

• Check spelling and grammar. Misspelled words can damage the credibility of your message.

• Click this link to corporate guidelines for glogs, specirfcally about Ethics, Etiquette, and Legal Stuff.

"Oh, and by the way, the link wasn't live either."
