Motorola focused on price when it added three new smartphones to its lineup, underscoring how much cheaper the devices were than flagship ones from Apple and Samsung.

The Moto X Style has a 5.7-inch screen and will be out in September. The company said it will cost 200-300 dollars less than the latest phones from Apple and Samsung. It didn't get more specific than that, but based on the unlocked price of an iPhone 6, that should put the Moto X style around $350-450 dollars.

The Moto X Play has a 5.5" display and will be available in August. Motorola again didn't give an exact price, but it should be around 250-350 dollars. It has a 3600 milliamp hour battery, which Motorola said should last up to two days on a single charge under normal use.

Along with the other phones, MotoX uses Moto Assist, which is the company's smartphone software that is supposed to help adapt to different situations.

There was also the new Moto G, which Motorola said will cost 1/3rd the price of a flagship from Apple or Samsung, which would put the price around 200 dollars. It's available now. At the lowest price of the three phones, it also has the lowest specs - a 5" screen, the slowest processor of the 3, a 2500 milliamp hour battery and a 13 megapixel camera.

Customers can use the companies Moto Maker online app to customize the phone's front and back panels, add additional memory or engrave the case.
