Skills you'll hire for this year? At all moments in time recently, our Nos. 1 and 2 positions sought are project manager and business analyst roles. We recently launched recruiting programs targeted at these two critical needs.
What's the most important task you've delegated this year? The responsibility to benchmark and determine the IT function's long-term value, delegated to the assistant vice president of IT finance. It would be easy, and probably less controversial, to delegate this to the chief technology officer or perhaps others. However, value is almost always determined economically, and my finance officer is the scorekeeper in this regard.
