On-site training offerings were recently expanded to 10 courses for all employees and five manager-specific courses. Also offered are a special curriculum for new managers, full tuition assistance (paid in advance) and fully paid technical Microsoft or Cisco certifications, as well as PMP certifications. Every year, several managers attend a local Executive Leadership Development program. IT administrative staff members are eligible to train to become Certified Administrative Professionals and attend executive and administrative conferences each year. The IT department works on a broad range of projects; IT is viewed as a top priority and a strategic investment by the business and executive management. For the sixth consecutive year, IT workers scored in the 95th percentile relative to the Gallup database indicating a highly motivated and engaged IT staff.
