Why You Want to Work There
Known for popular brands such as Yoplait, Wheaties and Betty Crocker, this company keeps finding new ways to reward its IT workers. A 10-member task force of IT employees created a new "Excellence in Technology" award, which encourages recognition of day-to-day activities. From a newly launched Web site, employees can send e-cards, find creative ways to recognize achievements, or requisition small tokens to give to colleagues for work well done. The program also features an annual awards ceremony. In 2007, more than 40 employees were recognized for their accomplishments in the community, at work and with their teams. Award recipients represented all IT teams and included managers and individual contributors, and domestic and global workers.
