These recommendations from Robert Scoble at Microsoft, Nick Wreden at the American Marketing Association, Rich Ottum at eStrategyOne and other bloggers will help you write a corporate blog worth reading:

  • Be original

  • Be authentic

  • Have a human voice

  • Avoid jargon

  • Tell the truth

  • Don't guess

  • Acknowledge mistakes

  • Post good news fast

  • Post bad news faster

  • Stay relevant

  • Use a spell checker

  • Update frequently

  • Once you start, don't stop

  • Never change your URL
