Sprint set to sell white Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch on Sunday
Latest model is priced at at $200, same as the already-available black model
Computerworld - Sprint announced it will sell the Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch in a frost white color starting on Jan. 8 for $199.99 with a new two year plan, the same price as the currently-available black model of the smartphone.
The white Samsung device is arguably the closest in appearance to a white Apple iPhone 4S, but the Galaxy S II runs Android 2.3 and not iOS. The black Galaxy S II first appeared onSprint in September.
The Galaxy S II boasts one of the biggest touchscreens on the market, at 4.52-in.
It includes two cameras, an 8 megapixel one for the rear and a 2 megapixel for the front. Samsung's Exynos 1.2 GHz dual core processor is included. It runs over Sprint's fast 4G Wimax network where available, dropping to 3G when 4G is not.
