Free smartphone tethering apps found in the Android Market are reportedly being blocked by AT&T, Verizon Wireless and T-Mobile. JR Raphael explains what happened, noting that the issue is not as dramatic as some make it out to be. But the question remains: Are you OK with carriers blocking tethering apps?
