Get $10 Back When You Buy Something with Bing

PC World - Tis the season to go shopping, what with Black Friday and Cyber Monday just around the corner. Here's an easy way to put $10 back in your pocket.

Specifically, new subscribers to Microsoft's Bing Cashback program can get an extra 10 bucks back when you make a purchase of at least $25. (Note: This offer expires today, so if you're interested, get clicking.)

So let's say, for example, you're planning to buy Nintendo Sports Resort for Wii. If you search for the game through the Bing Cashback portal, you'll find it selling at eCost for $56.99 (already a few bucks less than retail).

When you make your purchase, you'll get two percent of the price back in your Cashback account. (That's how the program works: It's like a Discover card, giving you money back on each purchase. And the amount varies from one vendor/product to another. Might be two percent here, might be 10 percent there. It adds up!)

If you also add a PayPal account to your Cashback payout options, Microsoft will deposit a $10 bonus (within 30 days of your registration and purchase). Not too shabby!

As I said, this is only for newcomers to Bing Cashback. However, if you already have a Bing account, all is not lost: Starting Friday, a bunch of retailers will be raising their cashback rates--in some cases significantly. So if you're going to shop online, Bing might be the place to start.
