Bugs hit Google Docs after recent upgrade
IDG News Service - Google Docs users are having problems printing, exporting and uploading certain files, the company acknowledged, as it rolls out a set of upgrades to their hosted office productivity suite.
In two separate postings on the official Google Docs Help discussion forum, a Google representative identified as Marie acknowledged the problems on Tuesday.
She indicated she would post updates to the issues, but as of this writing the problems remained outstanding, with no further information on their cause, scope or potential remedy.
On Monday, Google announced it would start providing Docs users with a series of long-requested enhancements, including the ability to share folders with other users.
Also new is the ability to upload multiple items to Docs simultaneously rather than one at a time. The Docs user interface also got revamped.
Google Docs is a free office productivity suite that includes word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software. It's a component of the broader Google Apps collaboration and communication suite for organizations, whose Premier edition costs $50 per user, per year.
