Macworld -
Hard drive-maker LaCie introduced a new version of its Rugged line of hard drives. The Rugged XL doubles the capacity of the original model to 1TB.

The Rugged XL was designed for speed-intensive applications, according to LaCie. The drive's connectors are USB 2.0 and eSATA, making the drive compatible with practically every modern computer system.
