Brief: Apple makes Amazon 'Best of' lists

Apple's MacBook Pro and Leopard operating system were reviewed most positively by customers

December 28, 2007 12:00 PM ET

Macworld - Amazon.com Inc. on Friday released its "Best of 2007" lists, which include the bestselling, most positively reviewed, most wished-for and favorite gift products as determined by its customers in 2007.

Apple Inc.'s MacBook Pro and Mac OS X v10.5 "Leopard" were selected in the computers and software categories, respectively, for lists of products that were reviewed most positively by Amazon's customers in 2007.

The 4GB iPod nano -- the third-generation model capable of playing video -- was identified as the electronics item that appeared most often in Amazon.com customers' wish lists in 2007.

Perhaps it's not a coincidence, then, that the 4GB iPod nano also appeared on the list of products most frequently purchased as gifts by Amazon.com customers, along with the MacBook laptop.
