New presentation remote controls sound
It has all the usual controls you'd expect from a presentation remote
July 19, 2007 12:00 PM ETComputerworld - Keyspan started shipping this week a new, $79 presentation remote with a difference: Sound volume controls.
Called the Presentation Remote Pro, the wireless device works, of course, with Microsoft PowerPoint but also Apple Keynote. It has all the usual controls you'd expect from a presentation remote: a laser pointer, slide advancer and screen blanker -- it even has a mouse controller.
Keyspan says its Presentation Remote Pro has at least a 100 foot range. It requires no software installation -- just plug the USB dongle in and go.
