I spent the past two and a half years serving as P&G's chief diversity officer, in addition to my shared services and IT responsibilities. In that role, I reported directly to our CEO and chief HR officer. This was an HR broadening assignment where I was able to set and put into motion the company's first global diversity strategy.

Last April, we embarked on an aggressive program to increase the number of video collaboration rooms at our offices by more than 150% in just six months. By July, we had already installed 80% of the additional rooms across the globe, seen a significant increase in the number of meetings via the technology, and a measurable reduction in travel.
