Because, hey, what could possibly go wrong?

IT employee at this local hospital needs some flash memory cards for her camera while she's on vacation -- and decides to "borrow" the ones that are most conveniently available, reports a pilot fish on the scene.

"She took the flash cards out of all of the Cisco switches," fish sighs.

"While she was away on vacation, the hospital had a power outage. None of the switches had operating system software, as it was thousands of miles away on the flash cards in her camera.

"We put in an emergency call to our vendor, who delivered flash memory to the hospital by midday. No one died, but the doctors had no access to the records systems for half the day.

"She managed to escape the guillotine that time, but was let go a few years later for other missteps."
