KB 3049508 updates Flash Player in IE for Win8/8.1, Win10 Preview

As if we didn't get enough patches on Tuesday, we have one more on Wednesday

Microsoft hasn't posted the KB 3049508 article as yet, so we don't know the details, but there's a new patch in the Automatic Update chute. Called "Security Update for Internet Explorer Flash Player for Windows 8.1, Windows RT 8.1, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows 8, Windows RT, and Windows Server 2012 (KB3049508)" it's yet another set of patches for Win 8, 8.1, RT, RT 8.1, Server 2012, and Server 2012 R2.

There are some details in Security Advisory 2755801:

On April 15, 2015, Microsoft released an update (3049508) for Internet Explorer 10 on Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Windows RT, and for Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows RT 8.1, Windows Technical Preview, and Windows Server Technical Preview. The update addresses the vulnerabilities described in Adobe Security bulletin APSB15-06. For more information about this update, including download links, see Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 3049508.

Yes, we just got a big round of IE patches yesterday, KB 3038314.

Last month, Microsoft managed to deliver both the IE rollup KB 3032359 and the Win 8/8.1 Flash Player update KB 3044132 on the same day. The KB articles also made it out on the same day.
