Samsung unveiled its next-generation Galaxy S4 smartphone tonight at an event in New York City and the IDG News Service provided a Ustream live video stream of the announcement.
The stakes were high. Analysts have said Samsung not only needed to top its current GSIII in hardware specs and software, but to compete with the next iPhone, expected in June, and whatever HTC and other Android phone makers roll out later this year.
Computerworld will have additional news stories and analysis about the new device after the event ends.
