Because doing that once is usually enough

Boss at a small company complains to this pilot fish that he can't use the copy of Microsoft Office on his new PC.

"He kept getting a message to insert the DVD," says fish. "He insisted that I call our support folks to come and make it work.

"When I used his PC, I had no problems, so I wasn't sure what he was doing. And I told him it worked. But he insisted.

"The support company sent a tech to fix the problem -- and he did.

"When I asked him later what he had done, he told me he removed the 'Office setup' shortcut from the desktop. Seems the boss was clicking on the setup shortcut instead of clicking on the Office program that he wanted to use -- hence the prompt to put in the DVD..."
