Pilot fish and his friend both work at a big hospital -- fish is in IT, while his friend is an M.D. with a Ph.D. to boot.

"She was unable to remote into her computer at work over the holiday, so I stopped by her place to take a look," says fish.

"The VPN looked fine, and I was able to access other machines but not hers. I was beginning to get frustrated.

"About that time she looked at me and mentioned that she had turned her computer off before leaving the office 'to let it rest.' Could that be the reason we were unable to remote in?"
