Marian Cook

Marian Cook is a speaker, author, and business and technology leader. She has over 20 years experience across multiple industries and countries, including leadership positions in strategy, management, operations, technology and leadership and business development. As a Senior Director at The College of American Pathologists, Marian Cook leads the Strategic Alliance Center of Excellence, and IT Strategy and Solutions.

Her leadership has been recognized by  “The Influential Woman in Business Award” presented by NAWBO and The Business Ledger, and as one of “The Top 100 People of Chicago’s High Tech Community” by I-Street magazine. 

Ms. Cook coauthored Selling Your Business For More, a book on improving business and technology performance prior to sale (Macmillan, 2010). She has been quoted in Crain’s, The Chicago Sun-Times, Chicago Tribune, CIO Magazine.com and The Business Ledger. Ms. Cook has been a guest lecturer at DePaul, Loyola and Northwestern Universities and Archeworks Design School, focusing on business and technology strategies and their execution, and leadership development. She was a Subject Matter Expert Editor for McGraw-Hill and a columnist for IT Contractor magazine on leading a professional services organization.
