You manage the division, we'll manage the clocks

Pilot fish gets a call from a newly promoted division director from an IT group that fish's team supports.

Reports fish, "He said, 'We were just sitting around talking...' I thought to myself, well, that's not good.

"He continued, 'With Daylight Saving time ending this weekend, do the clocks on the servers automatically adjust, or does someone need to go into each server and adjust the time?

"I told him, 'I'm quite sure your applications will not be affected by Daylight time ending.' He said, 'Good.'

"Now I await his next call in March..."
