When we say it's the end, we mean THE END, right?

Company where this IT pilot fish works has a probationary period for new employees -- and management wants to make sure it knows who's about to come off probation.

"Management requested a new report called 'Probationary Employees' that would indicate when employees are reaching the end of their probationary period," says fish.

"The report was built, tested and signed off on. It was then scheduled to run on a monthly basis. The job ran successfully on the first month, and shortly thereafter I received an instant message from a manager on the distribution list for this report, as well as a forwarded copy.

"The automated subject line: Probationary Employees was executed at 1/1/2014 2:00:07 AM.

"We're trying to decide if this should be changed..."
