Reports fish, "Upon observing the user's Windows XP workstation, I discover that Microsoft Outlook is sorting by priority instead of date, which resolves the no email issue immediately.

"Then I ask, 'What did you mean when you said your Microsoft is out?'

"User points to the bottom of the screen at the Task Bar, where the Microsoft Outlook task icon is truncated to 'Microsoft Out.'"
